Castle points

Every building level gives points – the “Points” column on each building page shows how many. Higher levels are worth far more than low ones. All buildings together make up a castle's points, all castles together your total points.

What you pay into the Athanor also counts towards the castle's points. If the castle changes hands, these Athanor points are gone.

You lose points when catapults damage buildings, when you demolish buildings or castles and when you lose a castle.

Military strength

Military strength combines your troops, your buildings and the number of your castles into one value. It decides whom you may attack (attack range). It isn't updated instantly but with a delay. The exact calculation stays secret.

What points count for

Points and military strength decide your place in the rankings – for players, alliances and continents, plus separate lists for castles, military, alchemists and events. They also matter for capitulation: it only becomes available once you have lost a large part of your strength.
