Mage Castle

The mage castle is a special kind of special castle. You get one by applying a mage castle upgrade from your upgrade stock to a secondary castle. The upgrade is available, for example, once in the guard's thaler shop and as a reward or offer during events. You cannot convert your main castle, amber castles, freshly conquered castles or castles that already are mage castles.

Free spells every month

In the gold menu, open the mage castles tab. It lists each of your mage castles with the number of free spells it currently yields. For every full 10 levels that the Laboratory, the Hiding place and the Treasury have all three reached, you get 1 free spell – so the weakest of the three buildings decides the amount. With all three at level 100, the castle yields 10 free spells.

• You can collect from each mage castle once per calendar month – with a click on collect.
• You can collect from at most 10 castles per month, so up to 100 free spells.
• A missed month cannot be made up – the spells do not pile up.

Further advantages

As a special castle, the mage castle receives the milestone bonuses that the Laboratory unlocks every 10 levels – and the strongest of all special castles at that (Special castles). You can also train the Paladin unit there, use Baldur build fields and building extensions, and the Mage is available there too.
