Fame and the fame shop

Fame from the guard tournament comes in two forms: as the season ranking and as a currency for castle bonuses, mage free spells and amber.

You earn fame in the guard tournament. There are two fame values that are easy to mix up:

  • Ranking fame – counts your tournament fame for the current season. It decides your place in the fame ranking and the "Hero of the Guard" title, and it is reset to zero at the end of the season.
  • Fame as currency – your balance in the sidebar and in the shop. It grows with the same tournament fame, plus 25% with a Guard Master and double during the Guards Festival. It is kept beyond the end of the season.

What's on offer

Open the shop via "fame bonus" on the guard page or by clicking your fame balance in the sidebar. You don't need a Guard Master for it, but the shop is only open during a guard season.

  • Castle bonuses for the castle you are currently in: +10% resources, +10% troop production, +10% troop queue or +10% amber yield, each for 7, 14 or 30 days.
  • Account bonuses: +50% merchant carrying capacity for 3 days, or an extra slot for your active masters for 7 days.
  • Mage free spells for the Mage, 50 fame each. Type the amount (1 to 999) straight into the row; from a total of 1,000 fame the game asks you to confirm.
  • Amber: 100 Heart, Barion, Flame or Shield amber each (see amber).

You can't buy a bonus twice while it is running. If it is still active or expired less than a day ago, use "Extend boni": you only pay for the time missing up to the duration you choose. Only durations that still fit into the season are offered.
