Dragons

Dragons are the end bosses for alliances: attack together, enslave the dragon and collect dragon scales every day.

One or more dragons of different strength live on every continent; their stars show how strong they are. Dragon fights always run as alliance raids: the alliance that has dealt the most raid damage when the dragon falls enslaves it. Without an alliance you cannot attack dragons.

Starting and joining a raid

The dragon menu lists your alliance's raids and leads to the dragon map. Members with diplomacy rights start a raid on a dragon there ("start alliance raid"), up to 100 at the same time. All members see the raid and join by sending troops. The raid page shows the members, the troops on the way, the raid power as a percentage of the dragon's life and the scales per day. Everyone can have only one attack at a time on the same dragon, and senators stay at home. How to organise raids is explained in Alliance dragon raids.

The right troops

Every type of dragon has strengths and weaknesses. The raid page shows each unit's attack power and its factor against this dragon – send whatever hits hardest there:

Enslaved dragons and scales

When the dragon falls, it belongs to your alliance and is protected for a while – the map shows the remaining time, after which other alliances may attack it. As long as you hold it, it pays dragon scales every day at midnight to everyone who fought in the final raid; they share its yield. Members who were not there can buy in on the raid page with the gold option for 10 gold and then receive 20% of a fighter's share every day. If you leave the alliance, your share ends too.

Dragons fight in seasons; the dragon menu shows how long the current one still runs. In the Dragon Raid rotation week you get more scales and suffer fewer losses (Weekly Rotation). With the scales you cast powerful spells (Dragon might: spells with scales) and build up the Athanor (Athanor). The Dragon Kills and Dragon Damage rankings show the best dragon hunters of the world.
