Hiding place

Resources in your Hiding place are safe from plunderers. Store what you don't need right away – especially before you log off.

In your Hiding place you store Stone, Wood and Ore by hand and take them out again. Nothing in there can be plundered, and catapults cannot harm the Hiding place. The “Hidden per resource” column shows how much of each resource fits in at that level.

The Hiding place holds far more than a Storehouse of the same level. That makes it a handy overflow: when your Storehouse is almost full, move part of it here – your mines keep producing instead of wasting resources.

To build, recruit or trade, you first have to take the resources back out. That happens instantly, but only as far as there is room in your Storehouse. Two exceptions: if your Storehouse does not hold enough to repair damaged construction sites, the repair automatically takes the rest from the Hiding place. And in the Athanor the checkbox "Use resources from hiding place" lets you pay in straight from the Hiding place.

The Hiding place needs a Storehouse at level 3. In a mage castle it counts together with the Laboratory and Treasury towards your monthly free spells – upgrade all three evenly there (Mage Castle).
