Equipment and items

Ten equipment slots, quality from grey to angel-touched, inventory, trader and auction house: how to equip your guard knights properly.

Every knight has ten equipment slots: head protection, shoulder protection, armour, leg protection, arms protection, boots, weapon main hand, shield hand, mount and blessing. Every item has a level – your knight's level when it was found – and a quality. Depending on the slot it adds life, attack and defence or percentage stats such as crit rate, block rate and bleeding.

Quality

You can tell quality by colour and name prefix: from plain grey through iron forged (green), war forged (blue) and demon forged (purple) up to titan forged (orange). Blessings change their name instead, from ordinary to divine blessing. At the very top are angel-touched items – you only get them from death missions and the Bewitched Pasture.

The average item value combines level and quality across all ten slots; an empty slot counts as 0. It decides which death missions come up and ranks the "Best equipment" list. Even a single empty slot drags it down noticeably.

Inventory and equipping

Your inventory has 20 slots shared by all your knights. You can buy more for 1,000 Thalers each (for the current season only). Equipped items don't count, but items in the auction house and broken items do.

If you open the inventory from a knight, the game compares each item with what he is wearing, better ones first. "Equip best gear" puts the strongest piece from your inventory into every slot, "unequip all" strips the knight. Both are locked during the tournament and during a death mission.

Selling and auctions

The trader buys anything you don't need for 70% of the market price – several items at once, too. He won't take angel-touched items. In the auction house (Marketplace tab) you offer items to other players: for 24, 48 or 72 hours, with a start bid between the minimum and maximum bid. The fee of 10, 20 or 30% of the start bid is paid when you list the item, even if nobody bids.

Every bid raises the price by exactly one Thaler. Your Thalers are reserved immediately and refunded if someone outbids you; whoever leads at the end wins the item.

Broken angel-touched items

When a knight falls, his gear is lost – only angel-touched pieces come back to your inventory as "broken". In that state you can neither wear nor sell them. Restore them for 20 million Thalers or 5 gold, or "discard" them for good to free the slot.
