Battle simulator

Play out battles before they happen: enter troops, research, wall, luck and bonuses, and see the result as a battle report.

The battle simulator under Military → Battle simulator uses the same battle logic as real fights. You enter who fights whom and get the result in the style of a battle report: losses on both sides, destroyed building levels, loot and – with a senator – the change in approval.

What you can set

  • Troops on both sides – for the attacker optionally including Senators and their level – plus the weapon research for each unit and the special research of attacker and defender.
  • Buildings of attacker and defender, for example the Wall, as well as the target buildings of your catapults.
  • Athanor skills such as Wallbreaker, Plate Armour, Raiding Party and Foundation Lore (Quintessence).
  • Surrender settings for both sides, i.e. at what losses attacker and defender give up (Battle settings).
  • Circumstances and bonuses: luck, night bonus, Blessing of Protection, whether the castle is currently contested, the dragon wardens of both sides and the alliance specializations.

Filling it in faster

With fill Castle-Data and fill Troop you copy the values of your current castle to the attacker side. Even more convenient: under every successful spy report you will find simulate this – it puts the scouted troops, buildings and research straight onto the defender side (Espionage).

Where the simulator hits its limits

The result is an estimate, not a guarantee. The real luck is only rolled when the battle happens, allies may send support, and by the time your troops arrive your opponent may have recruited or researched more. A spy report always shows the state at the moment of spying.
