Alliance dragon raids

Dragons can only be beaten together: start a raid, send troops, enslave the dragon and share dragon scales every day.

During a dragon season, mighty dragons live on the continents. No player can beat them alone – that is what alliance raids are for. The alliance tab "dragon raids" gives you an overview of your raids. More about the dragons themselves and what to do with their scales: Dragons and Dragon might: spells with scales.

Starting a raid

The dragon map shows every dragon with its strength, life and continent. Members with the diplomacy right can "start alliance raid" there; everyone else then sees "join alliance raid". An alliance can run several raids at once. A freshly defeated dragon is protected for a while – the map shows how much longer.

Attacking

"List raid" takes you to the raid page. It shows the raid power, who has already attacked and who is on the way, and you send troops from your current castle. The page also shows how strong each of your troop types is against this particular kind of dragon – every dragon has different weaknesses.

Victory and scales

Once the dragon is defeated, it belongs to the alliance that dealt the most damage in the raid – it is now "enslaved". Every day at midnight it delivers dragon scales, shared by all members who took part in the winning raid with troops. The raid page shows how many scales each of them gets per day. Dragon damage and dragon kills also count for rankings of their own.

Anyone who missed the raid can buy in later with the gold option and then receives a smaller share for as long as your alliance holds the dragon (Dragons).

The alliance holding the most dragons on a continent has superiority there. You need it for the Fire Apocalypse, for example. Wardens, curses, blessings and continent spells are paid for with scales (Dragon might: spells with scales).

The Dragon Raid week

Once a month the "Dragon Raid" week is on the event calendar (see weekly rotation). Attacks and kills then bring several times as many scales, losses drop, and if you attack shortly after an alliance member, you get an extra attack boost without enraging the dragon. The best time for big joint raids.
