Construction wagon
Found new castles with the construction wagon: levels, costs, the right spot – and why a wagon can be lost on the way.
The construction wagon is the peaceful way to a new castle. You load it with resources in one of your castles and send it to a free field; when it arrives, your new castle is built there. The wagon is slow, unarmed and carries nothing but building material.
Sending a wagon
The wagon bar in the Construction office shows which level you can build right now and leads to the wagon page. There you pick a target field on the map or enter coordinates, choose the level and send the wagon off. The current castle pays the costs. Wagons on the way are listed and can be shown on the map.
Levels and costs
There are four levels: the higher the level, the further developed the new castle starts – but the more expensive and slower the wagon. The page shows the building levels, the travel time per field and whether you can afford each level right now. During the Settler Event there is also the Settler Construction Wagon (Settlements).
Every castle you own makes the next wagon more expensive; wagons on the way and deeds of conquest you have bought count too. Once your realm has grown larger, a wagon also costs rubies from the start castle (Gems). The wagon page tells you the exact price.
Where to settle?
The target must be free and buildable, and you cannot settle right next to another castle – every castle has a protected area. The construction wagon map filters by minimum construction sites, gem type, special feature (sanctuary) and resource stars. Good spots lie close to your other castles (short ways for traders and troops), have many construction sites and stars, and mine the gem you are still missing (World, continents and fields).
Besides the construction wagon, you can also gain new castles by conquest (Conquest).
