Espionage
Spies reveal foreign castles: troops, buildings, resources and more. How to spy the right way – and how to protect yourself.
If you send only Spies in the attack form, it becomes a spy attack. As soon as even one other unit comes along, the march counts as a normal attack – the spies simply fight along and there is no spy report. You train spies in the Stables; they are among the fastest units in the game.
All or nothing
At the target, your spies face the spies in the castle – including those that allies have sent as support. If your spies prevail, you get the complete report. If they fail, you learn nothing about the castle and lose spies. Either way, the defender receives a report about the spy attempt.
What the spy report shows
A successful report reveals the resources in stock, all building levels, the troops present including support, research including special research, the Athanor stage with its assigned essences, the construction sites including damaged ones, and the approval of the inhabitants. simulate this transfers the data straight into the Battle simulator.
Protecting yourself from spies
The best defence is your own Spies in the castle: the more of them are stationed there, the harder it gets for enemy spies. Allies can also send you spies as support (Support).
Alliance spy reports
What your alliance mates scout, you see too – no sharing needed: on a castle's page, View last spy report opens your alliance's latest spy report on it. With the premium package Spy you see the last ten spy missions on every castle, with time and scout, plus the Spy missions tab in your alliance with all reports, searchable by player and coordinates (Premium Account). Without an alliance you only see your own reports.
