Thalers and the Thaler shop

Thalers are the currency of the Guard. You earn them mainly on missions, but also from the trader, the auction house, death missions at level 65 and the tournament during the Guards Festival. You spend them on training, inventory slots, auctions, restoring broken items – and in the Thaler shop.

Access

Open the Thaler shop via "Thaler Shop" on the guard page or by clicking your Thaler balance in the sidebar. It is only open to players with an active Guard Master – otherwise the game says "You don't have an active Guard Master!". The same page shows your Thaler log for the last 30 days.

What's on offer

• Castle bonuses for the castle you are currently in: +25% resources, +10% troop production, +10% troop queue or +10% amber yield, each for 7, 14 or 30 days.
• +100% merchant carrying capacity for your whole account.
• Castle upgrades: sanctuary upgrade (3 million Thalers), ice castle upgrade (5 million) and mage castle upgrade (10 million). They are credited to you, and you use them on one of your castles later (see upgrades and special castles).

The upgrades are limited: per season at most three sanctuaries, two ice castles and one mage castle. Once you hit the limit, the offer says "bought in season". The bonuses work as in the fame shop: no buying a running bonus twice, extending via "Extend boni".
