Support

Send troops to defend your own or friendly castles – hold castles together and bring your troops home again later.

Under Military → Support you send troops to another castle to help defend it – one of your own castles or a fellow player's, for example from your alliance. Support troops are for defence only: if the castle is attacked they join the fight, but you cannot attack from there with them.

What you need to know

  • Support counts towards the Military training grounds of the home castle: as long as your troops are on the march or stationed in the other castle, they take up space there. Like every march, support also costs sending costs.
  • Neither Senators nor Amber Knight units can be sent as support.
  • Supporters fight in the castle just like its own defenders and suffer losses too. After every battle there you receive a report. Spies you send along also help against spy attacks.
  • If the castle falls to an attacker, the support troops inside it are lost as well.

Recalling and sending home

In the Troop overview you can recall your support at any time – all of it or just part. In turn, you can send foreign supporters stationed in your castle home with Send back.

When support is not possible

During an attack ban you cannot send support. Players in capitulation can neither send nor receive support (Capitulation), and settlements do not accept support (Settlements). On the Bloodlust world, both castles need a Throne. As an account sitter you may only send support between the castles of the account you are sitting (Account sitting).
