Every castle produces the three basic resources Stone, Wood and Ore itself – in the Quarry, the Sawmill and the Mine. They go into almost everything: buildings, research, troops, construction wagons and trade.
Production and storage
- The higher a resource building, the more it yields per hour. The values per level are on the building pages.
- Stars on your castle's field raise the yield of the matching resource – up to five stars per resource. Premium, events, the guard, alliance specializations and the Athanor can boost production further.
- The Storehouse limits how much of each resource the castle can hold. Anything beyond that – including merchant deliveries – is lost.
With merchants you move resources between your castles or trade on the market. Loot comes from attacks on players, grey castles and bandit camps.
Other currencies
- Gems – diamonds, rubies and emeralds. Each castle mines one kind and keeps it in the Treasury. You pay the healers, construction wagons and deeds of conquest with them, or turn them into gold in your main castle. More under gems.
- Gold – the premium currency. World gold only counts in its own world, bought global gold everywhere. More under gold.
- Amber – four kinds from the Amber Mine, from bandits and from events; used for blessings, spells, amber castles and amber knights. More under amber.
- Dragon scales – loot from your alliance's dragon raids; they pay for dragon spells and the Athanor. More under dragons.
- Fame and thaler – the currencies of the guard. Your knights earn fame in the tournament, and you spend it in the fame shop and the Athanor; thaler pay for training, equipment and the thaler shop.
The overview below shows what you need the three basic resources for most.
